ABOUT me
Based in Germany, I act as an independent sparring partner between investors and innovative entrepreneurs.My background combines leadership roles in the global high-tech industry, including IBM, Barclays Bank and Microsoft, where I built and scaled business units, international teams and new business areas.At Microsoft, I spent several years driving the company’s startup and venture activities in Germany. I built and managed deal flow, shaped the investment approach, and played a key role in launching the Microsoft Venture Accelerator — work that contributed to the foundation of what later became M12 (www.m12.vc). I subsequently served as a Venture Partner at FundersClub and as a Partner at FitzharrisPrice Venture Network.Over the years, I have reviewed more than 1,500 pitch decks and supported around 40 startups at seed and growth stages as an advisor, board member, coach or interim manager.This mix of corporate, venture and founder‑side experience gives me a well‑rounded view of how companies are built – and where they most often run into trouble.
What I do
Today, I help investors structure their deal flow and to evaluate new startups deals and their assumptions before capital and time are invested.1. Deal Sparring
60–90 minutes on a specific deal. Outcome: clear assessment, identified red flags, key questions, and a concrete recommendation.2. Due Diligence Sprint
1–2 weeks per deal. Outcome: concise memo with a Go / No-Go / Further Review decision, plus a list of key risks and open issues.3. Investor Coaching
Ongoing support for active investors.
